1. From the perspective of urban planning, the site selection of charging stations shall fully consider the government's development planning and the layout constraints of the urban transportation network. Site selection determines the area of the charging station, the capacity of parking spaces, the traffic volume of access, and the number of charging piles to a certain extent. Once the site is determined, a large amount of capital investment is required.

2. From the perspective of power grid planning, electric vehicle charging stations, as an important part of the medium and low-voltage power distribution system, should be combined with the current situation of the power distribution system, be as close to the load center as possible, and meet the requirements of load balance, power quality and power supply reliability.

3. From the perspective of electric vehicle users, charging stations should be located in places with concentrated and convenient charging demand, and the number of charging piles should be selected fully in accordance with residents' charging demand. Generally speaking, the larger the population, the more users with charging demand. In addition to population size, charging demand is also related to residents' economic strength and purchasing power, and residents' purchasing power is related to the future trend of charging demand.

4. From the perspective of selecting charging pile products, according to the charging method, charging piles are divided into three types: AC charging piles, DC charging piles, and AC-DC integrated charging piles. Generally speaking, we choose DC charging piles that meet national requirements when building a station, because they save time and have high efficiency. Take Jishi Dian as an example, a 120KW DC charging pile for vehicles can quickly meet people's demand for a full charge before hitting the road and achieve the goal of fast charging. The layout of charging equipment should be convenient for parking charging vehicles and operation by charging personnel; and consideration should be given to whether it is necessary to install a canopy that is rain and snow proof.

5. From the perspective of construction qualification, the construction of a charging station also requires qualifications such as charging station construction and installation, as well as power capacity increase permission from the power bureau; if an independent power supply is required, power approval shall be applied to the State Grid, and the constructed charging pile equipment and charging station power supply system shall comply with national standards. At the same time, the location of the charging station shall meet the requirements of environmental protection, traffic safety, fire protection regulations and other requirements.
