Shenzhen Airport P4 Parking Lot Ride-hailing Parking Area Put into Use

The newly-built P4 remote public parking area of Shenzhen Airport has been officially put into operation, adding nearly 1,200 remote public parking spaces to better serve passengers' travel.

　　The newly-built P4 remote parking lot of Shenzhen Airport is located at the intersection of Daoxiangbiao 4th Road and Konggang 2nd Road, about 2.5 kilometers away from Terminal 3. It includes a special parking area for online car-hailing, public parking spaces and coach parking spaces, totaling more than 1,800 spaces. Among them, the special parking area for online car-hailing was put into operation on August 1 this year. After the launch of the P4 public parking area this time, nearly 1,200 additional public parking spaces will be added. At the same time, it is also equipped with 130 DC charging piles, 150 AC charging piles, as well as restaurants, drinking areas, rest areas, restrooms and other facilities, which greatly improves the supply capacity of airport ground parking services and provides a more convenient and comfortable environment for passengers and online car-hailing drivers.

　　Since there is a certain distance between the P4 remote parking lot and Terminal 3, Shenzhen Airport has arranged shuttle vehicles between the P4 parking lot and the airport ground transportation center to provide 24-hour free shuttle service for passengers. The shuttle platforms between P4 Parking Lot and Terminal 3 are set outside Gate 16 of the airport ground transportation center and at the shuttle bus boarding area of P4 remote parking lot, with a departure interval of 5 to 10 minutes between the two platforms. Subsequently, Shenzhen Airport will continuously increase transport capacity and adjust departure schedules according to passenger volume to meet passengers' travel needs.

　　Meanwhile, the P4 remote parking lot has achieved full coverage of multiple "cashless payment" methods. In terms of charging, the P4 public parking area implements the current outdoor parking service charging standards of Shenzhen Airport. In the future, under the guidance of relevant government departments, Shenzhen Airport will implement differentiated charging based on the distance between the parking lot and the terminal. As a long-term parking area, P4 public parking lot will implement a relatively lower charging standard in accordance with the principle of "charging price lower than that of proximal parking lots", so as to promote the linked operation of proximal and remote parking lots and achieve a balance between passengers' parking demand and the guarantee level of parking lot resources.
